One thing that I hear from women a lot is that they struggle with their sense of worthiness.
They’re feeling like they’re not good enough, with low self esteem, and feeling like they’ve lost their confidence.
Just imagine that you are holding in your arms an exquisite, precious new born baby and imagine looking down on that beautiful being. That precious little baby can’t do anything to earn your love and she doesn’t need to achieve anything or prove anything to be worthy of love.
But you know that she is worthy, valuable and precious without having to do anything.
Well that was once you.
So think of yourself as that beautiful precious little being. And then you grew, things happened along the way, you made mistakes, and you picked beliefs from situations and from other people. And then at some point you started believing that you weren’t good enough, that you had to be or not be certain things in order to be valued and be worthy.
But that is not true. Just like that new born baby who didn’t need to do anything to prove herself to be worthy, to be of value, to be good enough. You are still the same.
There is nothing you can do to be worthy than what you already are. You are already good enough.
You could also think of a one hundred dollar bill – crisp, clean and new, it’s worth a hundred dollars. And then if you took that bill and got it dirty and crumpled it up. That one hundred dollar bill would still be worth a hundred dollars.
It’s a silly analogy but you can think of it the same way that no matter what baggage you’ve taken on, no matter what mistakes you’ve made, no matter what’s had happened to you, you are still 100% worthy and good enough.
The key is to come out of fear-based thinking and anchor back to the truth that is always there for you when you come back to the present. It really is that simple.
